FunGlass as a core member of The European Virtual Institute on Knowledge-based Multifunctional Materials AISBL (KMM-VIN)
It is apleasure announce that on February 21, The General Assembly of The European Virtual Institute on Knowledge-based Multifunctional Materials AISBL (KMM-VIN) approved the incorporation of FunGlass as a core member of the Institute.
KMM-VIN is a self-sustainable organisation which promotes and facilitates cooperative research and development activities of its Members in advanced structural and functional materials. Currently is composed by 30 core and 25 associated members in the academic and industrial fields from more than 10 countries in Europe. KMM-VIN is covered by 5 working groups: WG1: Materials for Transport; WG2: Materials for Energy; WG3: Biomaterials; WG4: Materials Modelling and Simulations; and WG5: Graphene/2D Materials. FunGlass will join to the WG2: Materials for Energy and WG3: Biomaterials.
The incorporation of FunGlass to the KMM-VIN institute increase the visibility of the center as well as allow our PhD students and researchers attend to the different calls promoted by the institute, increasing the collaboration with several institutions across Europe.
