Another FunGlass PhD student succeeded in JECS Trust grant applying

We are very happy to announce that another of our PhD students Maryam Vakhshouri has succeeded in applying for JECS Trust grant with her project on “Mechanical characterization of Al2O3/Y3Al5O12(YAG)/ZrO2 ceramics fabricated using spark plasma sintering”.

She will be enhancing her research skills at the Montanuniversität Leoben, an advanced center for engineering ceramics development and characterization. During her stay, Maryam will be under the supervision of Prof. Raúl Bermejo, the chair of structural and functional ceramics at the Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria.
