SAS MOST project meeting in Taipei
Between November 11-14 Prof. Dušan Galusek visited the National Taiwan University in Taipei, to participate in a progress meeting of the project SAS-MOST ‘Transforming bioinert to bioactive through surface Engineering’ (BioSurf), funded jointly by the Slovak Academy of Science and the Taiwanese Ministry of Science and Technology.
Over the weekend prof. Galusek met the group of Prof. Wei-Hsing Tuan, the principal investigator at the NTU, informed them about the current achievements and research activities of the project FunGlass, and discussed with his students. On Monday the activities of the project BioSurf were evaluated and further progress was discussed. Tuesday was dedicated to the meeting with Prof. Shao-Ju Shih, co-investigator from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, and to plan further activities.
