Dr. Akansha Mehta Advances 3D Printing with Inorganic Waste in Collaboration with Lithoz GmbH
Dr. Akansha Mehta collaborated with Lithoz GmbH in Vienna, Austria on the project “Development of Customized 3D Conductive Electrodes from Inorganic Waste Materials (Brown Mud and Various Unrecyclable Waste Glasses).” She worked alongside Dr. Martin Schwentenwein and Dr. Abhijeet Lale. During her one-month stay at Lithoz, from March 18th to April 18th, she successfully developed multi-printed, hematite-rich 3D scaffolds from waste brown mud. The collaboration will continue, Akansha plans to return in June to complete the project. This research was funded by the Horizon 2020 FunGlass project.
