Dr. Junjie Zhao Explores Glass Cold Sintering at University of Trento

Funded by the Horizon 2020 FunGlass project, Dr. Junjie Zhao from the VILA department stayed in the Glass and Ceramics Laboratories,Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Trento (Italy) from April to July for exploring glass cold sintering in solid-state lighting application. During her 11-weeks stay, she utilized the lab facilities there to have a better understanding of the chemical reaction during the cold sintering process and to identify the possibility of achieving transparency.
