Our Participation at MS&T 2024 Conference

We are proud to announce the participation of our esteemed researchers at the Materials Science & Technology (MS&T) 2024 Conference, which will take place from October 6–9, 2024 at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US.

MS&T is a renowned annual event that brings together the brightest minds in the fields of materials science, engineering, and technology. The conference offers a unique platform to explore the latest advancements and foster collaborations across various industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, energy, and more. The technical program is recognized for addressing the core areas of materials science, including structure, properties, processing, and performance.

The event is jointly organized by three prominent societies: the American Ceramic Society (ACerS), the Association for Iron and Steel Technology (AIST), and The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS).

Our team of researchers contributed significantly to the technical discussions this year with their cutting-edge work in materials science:

  • Dr. Akansha Mehta presented her research on the Development of 3D Hierarchical Porous Structure Using Brown Mud and Waste Glass, focusing on maximizing porosity and mechanical strength.
  • Dr. Jozef Kraxner shared his work on Advanced Bioactive 3D Scaffolds Based on Ca-Mg Silicate Glass Microspheres, aimed at innovative applications in bioactive materials.
  • Dr. Martin Michálek presented on the Angiogenic Potential of Mesoporous Bioactive Glass in Medical Applications, highlighting advancements in biomedical applications.

Their contributions not only reflect the innovative spirit of our team but also demonstrate our commitment to advancing the field of materials science and technology. We are honored to be part of this prestigious event and look forward to future collaborations and discoveries.
