Successful PhD Dissertation Defense at FunGlass
On November 28, our PhD student, MSc. Akrity Anand, successfully defended her dissertation thesis entitled: Copper-strontium/magnesium co-doped mesoporous bioactive glass for tissue engineering and drug delivery applications.
During her studies, she was supervised by Dr. Dagmar Galusková, Head of Department of Central Laboratories and by Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini, Head of the Institute of Biomaterials, FAU Erlangen, Germany. Her thesis was reviewed by Assoc. Prof. Emma Björk from Linköping University, Sweden, and Dr. Katalin Balázsi from the HUN-REN Centre for Energy Research, Budapest, Hungary.
