YCN Workshop in Smolenice
This event is open for young researchers (PhD + max 8 years), limited to 70 participants including post docs, PhD students and master students (max. 20 M.Sc. students).
2 invited speakers from academy and industry will take part to the event:
- Prof. Thomas F. Webster, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute – USA
- Dr. Moritz von Witzleben, Founder & GM, INMATEC – ECerS President
Introduce yourself and meet new fellows along 3 days to develop your network and set future collaborations!!!
All participants will pitch (present) themselves orally in 5 minutes including visual aids (videos, picture, slides, etc.).
Your task: Get funding for your ceramic research or research idea from the live jury.
The experienced jury will give you valuable feedback on how you could improve to succeed. The best pitches will be awarded!
