FunGlass doctorate students at the Young Ceramists Network (YCN) Workshop in Smolenice, Slovakia
1st YCN networking workshop organized by ECerS was held from 2nd to 4th October in Smolenice Castle, Slovakia. This event was attended by 60 PhD and MSc students from all of the world. Two FunGlass PhD students have participated and presented themselves, too.
Fatih Kurtuldu, MSc presented his PhD topic and ideas which is multifactional mesoporous glasses for selective targeting of cancer cells under supervision of Prof. Dusan Galusek and Prof. Aldo Boccaccini.
Nurshen Mutlu, MSc presented her PhD topic which is incorporation of fibrous/particulate bioglasses in hydrogel and other soft matrices for soft tissue engineering under Prof. Dusan Galusek and Prof. Aldo Boccaccini.
