New FunGlass colleague from Jena
From the middle of October Department of Functional Materials team has a new member from Jena, Germany- Dr. Kristin Griebenow.
She studied chemistry and received her doctoral degree in 2017 from the Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena, Germany. In her PhD thesis she focused on the mixed modifier effect in alkaline earth metaphosphate glasses and investigated their structure-property relations. Her current research is directed towards borophosphate glasses and their potential applications as a host medium for white light generation or substrates for catalytic devices and bioactive materials.
