FunGlass at the 15th ESG Conference & ICG Annual Meeting 2020
Prof. Dušan Galusek, the head of the FunGlass Center with the FunGlass research team plan to participate at the 15th ESG CONFERENCE & ICG Annual Meeting 2020 (if the situation with COVID-19 epidemic situation allows that). The conference, which will be held on 20-24 September 2020 in Krakow, Poland, promises an interesting programme with an international forum for the presentation and discussion of cutting-edge research related to wide glass science. An important goal is to extend the cutting edge in the context of challenges for glass makers and new uses for glass products. The conference creates a space for our FunGlass team to actively enhance the cooperation between research teams, entrepreneurs and investors in the area of glass technology as well as to inform about the project itself and share the results
Prof. Alicia Durán, CSIC, Madrid, one of our FunGlass project partner (representatives) and also the President of ICG, will chair the FunGlass special session in the event on 21st September, during which, our team members are prepared to deliver presentations covering wide range of topics on glass and its applications in the field of bioactive glass, optics, protective coatings and glass-ceramics.
