Long-term training stay at CSIC Madrid

Dr. Kristin Griebenow has completed her post-doctoral training in the group of Prof. Alicia Durán at the Institute of Ceramics and Glasses in Madrid, Spain.

Her stay was part of the training program for young researchers supported by FunGlass project and it had a duration of one year. In Madrid, she has continued her work on new materials for the production of white light emitting devices (WLEDs) with Dr. Francisco Muñoz. She has investigated the structure and fluorescence properties of rare earth doped borophosphate glasses using methods such as FTIR and NMR spectroscopy. Dr. Kristin Griebenow will continue her research in Trenčín at the Department of Functional Materials.
