Processing and Properties of Advanced Ceramics and Glass conference in Osrblie

The FunGlass team together with the Slovak Silicate Scientific-Technological Society was honored to organize this year conference named PROCESSING AND PROPERTIES OF ADVANCED CERAMICS AND GLASS held in Osrblie, on October 13th-15th 2021. The annual conference offers a unique opportunity for the Slovak and Czech researchers, academic institutions and companies working in the area of silicate materials to meet and discuss results of their research and future cooperation in the field. The FunGlass Centre, SAS IIS, VÚT Brno and CEITEC teams shared their experience with the following topics:

▪ Development of advanced ceramics, ceramics composites and glasses

▪ Functional ceramics and glasses

▪ Porous ceramics and glasses

▪ Ceramic & glass coatings

▪ Characterisation and testing of ceramic & glass materials

▪ Surface modification techniques of ceramics and glasses

The PROCESSING AND PROPERTIES OF ADVANCED CERAMICS AND GLASS conferenced included as well Joint annual meeting of the Silicate Scientific-Technological Society, whose professional guarantors are prof. Ján Dusza, prof. Pavol Šajgalík, and prof. Dušan Galusek.
