Dr. Zulema Vargas as Guest editor for a Special Issue of Bioengineering

We are pleased to announce that our researcher Dr. Zulema Vargas from the Department of Biomaterials was invited as Guest Editor for a Special Issue: “Recent Advances in the Application of Nanoparticle Synthesis and Bioprint” that belongs to the section “Nanotechnology Applications in Bioengineering” of  the open-access journal Bioengineering.

This Special Issue aims to promote and compile recent advances in the design, synthesis, characterization, manufacturing, theoretical analysis, and versatile applications of nanoparticles or bioprinting, and focuses on state-of-the-art nanomaterials synthesis and bioprint strategies to solve critical challenges in engineering and medicine. Therefore, original research articles (full papers and short communications), reviews, mini reviews, perspectives, and opinions covering the latest studies and progress are highly welcomed.

Special issue is now open for submission and deadline for manuscript submissions is 31 December, 2022.
