FunGlass PhD students successful in JECS Trust call again
We would like to congratulate to our Ph.D. students Haritha Haridasan, Marzieh Ghadamyari and Ertugrul Varlik for obtaining a grant from JECS Trust Fund for developing their research skills at advanced research institutions. Their applications for mobility exchange have been approved by the JECS Trust Board in July 2022.
Marzieh and Ertugrul will carry out their research on “Luminescent YAG: Er microspheres used for the preparation of phosphor in glass materials“ (Marzieh) and “Boron and Cobalt co-doped 3D scaffolds for bone tissue regeneration based on 45S5 bioactive glass” (Ertugrul) at Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA) and Haritha will focus on „ZnO/WO3 thin films prepared by sol-gel method for photocatalytic and solar cell applications” during her stay in Madrid at Institute of Glass and Ceramics, CSIC under supervision of prof. Alicia Durán.
