The coating department in AGC Interpane Glas Industrie company

Assoc. Prof. Amirhossein Pakseresht, Dr. Omid Sharifahmadian and Dr. Kamalan Kirubaharan were hosted by the AGC company  in Lauenförde, Germany in September 2022.  The main purpose of the visit was to get training about the possibilities to fabricate thin films by utilizing FunGlass new pilot coater line machine which was installed in our Centre as a part of the project CEGLASS (ITMS code 313011R453) reconstruction and upgrade of the infrastructure. Moreover, our researchers were invited to visit the industrial scale of the pilot coater line machines which are in the AGC group company.

The last but not least objective of the visit was to discuss possibilities for future constructive collaborations between AGC group company and FunGlass center in form of for example joint Ph.D programs.

The visit was very inspirative and we believe the results of the training will be soon visible.
