FunGlass XPS training at CATRIN-RCPTM , Olomouc

Assoc. Prof. Amirhossein Pakseresht and Dr. Kamalan Kirubaharan visited XPS lab of CATRIN – Regional Centre of Advanced Technologies and Materials (RCPTM) in Olomouc, Czech Republic, in April 2023. CATRIN-RCPTM  is a scientific institute dedicated to chemical and materials research, particularly in nanotechnology and its applications in energy, environmental technologies, catalysis and biomedicine. It is part of the Czech Advanced Technology and Research Institute (CATRIN) of Palacký University Olomouc.

The purpose of this visit was to get advanced level training in XPS instrumentation, data acquisition and analysis. This training was organized by Pragolab s.r.o. and under the guidance of ThermoFisher application scientist Robin Simpson, we completed three days of hands-on sessions.
