On April 17th, he participated in the graduation ceremony at the University of Padova, marking the culmination of his academic journey and the attainment of a double diploma degree under the Cotutelle agreement between Alexander Dubček University of Trenčín and the University of Padova.
Throughout his doctoral program, Mokhtar engaged in extensive research and training opportunities. He undertook long-term training at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padova in Italy, focusing on the development of his research topic: glass recycling and the application of glass microspheres in advanced 3D glass structures. Additionally, he participated in the Erasmus program at the Helmholtz Institute Ulm for Electrochemical Energy Storage – HIU, an associated institute of Ulm University in Germany. During his time there, he concentrated on the “Application of Hollow Glass Microspheres for Hydrogen Storage”.
His dissertation, titled “Second Life of Waste Glasses: Application of Glass Microspheres in Advanced 3D Glass Structures“, was successfully defended under the guidance of his co-supervisors, Dr. Jozef Kraxner (TNUAD) and Professor Enrico Bernardo (University of Padova) .
We are thrilled to announce that Mokhtar will continue his academic journey as a researcher in the Glass Processing Department at FunGlass. Congratulations, Mokhtar! We extend our best wishes for your continued success in both your research endeavors and personal life.
