Martin Rozman´s training stay at CSIC, Madrid
Dr. Martin Rozman who joined our Centre in July 2021 started his one-year training stay aimed on developing his research and infrastructure competences at Ceramic and Glass Institute of Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC) in Madrid. His work will be supervised by prof. Alicia Durán and Dr. Yolanda Castro.
The purpose of Martin´s postdoctoral project is to investigate possible transfer of existing sol-gel preparation procedures that are being used on functionalized glass, such as fluorine doped tin oxide (FTO) and indium doped tin oxide (ITO) onto the sheet foil metal based devices. As such, primary objective of his training at CSIC will be to study existing sol-gel preparation procedures, along with different coating methods and adapting these procedures in order to be fully compatible with metallic surfaces.
We wish Martin good luck and pleasant stay in Madrid!
