Dr. Surjyakanta Rana and Dr. Orhan Sisman as guest editors of a Special Issue of Molecules journal

We are pleased to announce that our researchers Dr. Surjyakanta Rana and Dr. Orhan Sisman from the Department of Functional Materials will be serving as Guest Editors for a Special Issue on “Fabrication of Advanced Materials for Catalysis” that will be published in the open-access journal, Molecules (ISSN 1420-3049, IF 4.412).

Regarding the emerging energy needs and environmental concerns, the demand for catalytic materials and reactions research is increasing day by day. Their special issue is devoted to composite materials/nanocomposite materials/metal-organic frameworks/carbon-based materials/ hybrid materials/supported materials investigated as prospective catalysts in various types of applications, such as different organic transformation reactions, adsorption, degradation, sensor application, gas separation, hydrogen production, CO₂ conversion, etc.

 They kindly invite researchers to contribute their research works covering new improvements in the preparation, characterization, and catalytic applications related to energy, environment, and sustainability. Potential topics include but are not limited to:

• Green techniques for nanomaterials processing.
• Synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials/metal-organic frameworks/carbon-based materials/hybrid materials/supported materials for catalytic reactions.
• Fabrication of novel nanomaterials/nanocomposite materials for energy and environmental application.
