Fourth periodic review of the FunGlass project

On July 27th, 2022 FunGlass Centre hosted virtually the representatives from the European Commission and advanced project partners for the fourth periodic review.

Prof. Galusek, the director of the FunGlass centre welcomed the project reviewers Ms. Charlotte Andersdotter and prof. Constantine Galiotis, and the Project manager from European Research Executive Agency Ms. Pepa Krasteva, as well as our advanced partners prof. Aldo Boccaccini from FAU Erlangen- Nürnberg, prof. Enrico Bernardo from the University of Padova, prof. Alicia Duran from CSIC Madrid and prof. Lothar Wondraczek from FSU Jena.

The director of the FunGlass Centre with the team presented the achievements of the Centre. For example, the virtual tour through the reconstruction of the premises with newly installed equipment was provided to show one of our successes. The advanced partners presentations revealed their strong involvement in FunGlass processes and success, mainly in terms of long-term trainings of FunGlass researchers and PhD students with whom the co-tutelle agreements were signed.
