FunGlass Researchers and Students Participated in a Training on Additive/Subtractive Manufacturing of Glass and Ceramics
From February 4–6, 2025, researchers and PhD students from FunGlass took part in a three-day training event on Additive/Subtractive Manufacturing of Glass and Ceramics in Brno. This event was organized by CEITEC BUT as part of the Training Program within the GlaCerHub project, a Horizon Europe initiative coordinated by FunGlass.
The training program consisted of three events focused on highly innovative research topics (including this one) and five additional events aimed at developing complementary skills to help researchers translate fundamental research into commercially viable innovations.
This first event featured lectures by leading scientists and professionals from both industry and academia, providing participants with valuable insights into cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.
Representing FunGlass at the event were Dr. Martin Michálek, Dr. Jozef Kraxner, Dr. Zuzana Neščáková, Dr. Mokhtar Mahmoud, Dr. Diana Lago, Dr. Zulema Vargas Osorio, Dr. Anastasiia Novokhatska, Onat Basak, Abel Ourgessa, Ahmed Gamal Abd-Elsatar, and Ertugrul Varlik.
