FunGlass Symposium at ECERS 2023

It was a pleasure for FunGlass Centre to participate in the XVIIIth Conference & Exhibition of the European Ceramic Society in Lyon (France), held from 2nd to 6th July 2023. We shared the latest discoveries in ceramic science and technology and reconnected with colleagues from around the world in a pleasant conference atmosphere. The conference hosted ceramic experts from industry and academia, offering a unique opportunity to participate in an international event covering the development and applications of ceramic-based systems.

Here is the ECERS 2023 in statistics:

  • 1200 delegates on-site
  • 50 exhibitors
  • 140 sessions and 800 oral presentations
  • 300 posters
  • 200 participants to the Career Fair
  • 600 participants to the Gala Dinner

The ECERS conference also served as the background for this year’s edition of FunGlass symposium. At the symposium, our researchers provided a thorough overview of FunGlass Centre’s research activities and achievements in collaboration with our advanced partners and shared them with the ceramic community.
