FunGlass Welcomes Assoc. Prof. Dana Rohanová as Visiting Lecturer
FunGlass had the privilege of hosting Assoc. Prof. Dana Rohanová from the Department of Glass and Ceramics at the University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague. Prof. Rohanová joined us from November until mid-December, delivering a series of thought-provoking lectures under the theme “Glass: From History to the Future”:
- Unexpected Role of TRIS Buffer in In Vitro Assays
- Acellular Immersion Tests on Highly Reactive Materials
- Titanium Substrates and Ways to Change Their Inert Properties
- The (Hi)story of Glass
Each lecture sparked engaging discussions, providing a platform for FunGlass researchers and students to delve deeper into the fascinating world of glass science. Beyond the classroom, Prof. Rohanová’s extended stay allowed for informal interactions and in-depth discussions with FunGlass staff, fostering collaboration and exchange of ideas.
