GlaCerHub Engages in Networking Event to Foster Excellence and Collaboration

On November 28, 2024, the GlaCerHub and FunGlass projects participated in the Excellence Hubs & Teaming Networking Event, organized by the European Research Executive Agency (REA), Unit REA.C3, in Brussels, Belgium. Representing FunGlass, Peter Hošták, GlaCerHub Office Manager, actively participated in discussions and explored collaboration opportunities.

A key highlight of the event was a productive and cordial meeting with the project officer, Pepa Krasteva, where opportunities to strengthen partnerships and align efforts with strategic EU research goals were discussed. Additionally, the FunGlass representative explored potential cooperation with coordinators of Excellence Hub projects, focusing on synergies to drive innovation and sustainability across the quadruple helix actors. The event also included bilateral meetings with coordinators of Teaming projects, emphasizing consultations on specific activities and initiatives that build on prior discussions and identified areas of mutual interest. These consultations were designed to align with the Centre’s operational and training needs. The agenda also featured thematic parallel sessions that addressed sustainability, funding optimization, and commercialization strategies, providing valuable insights to advance the GlaCerHub ecosystem and contribute to the broader European research and innovation area.
