GlaCerHub project presented at LIMACON2023

GlaCerHub’s communication activities have already crossed the Czech and Slovak borders. The GlaCerHub project consortium is working hard to create an ecosystem encouraging close collaboration between industry, academia, local government and the non-profit sector. The project ambition is to drive the virtuous innovation cycle and instigate economic growth in the glass and ceramic sector in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Special attention is paid to the development of a joint research and innovation strategy, the results-oriented training for innovators and the creation of a platform to support technology transfer.

The GlaCerHub consortium was invited to present its project at the LIMACON 2023 Conference  (“Advanced hybrid lightweight materials and technologies for global circular economy, Bialystok”) on  November 12-14, 2023.

Peter Hošták, Head of the Administration Department of the FunGlass Centre and also the manager of the GlaCerHub project, presented the GlaCerHub project within The Raising Funds Panel – Presentation of Europa Horizon projects.
His on-line presentation is available at https://youtu.be/mMakeJk9tf0?list=PLSWFQy6lDc76zE4-49F6DXWgDKV9O71MB (from 4:56:30).

In addition to our project, another successful project was presented in this Panel – EXCEL4MED, Excellence Hub project dedicated to green technologies, with a particular focus on introducing innovation ecosystems in the Mediterranean food value chain.

LIMACON2023 was organized by Bialystok University of Technology in cooperation with the Marshal’s Office of the Podlaskie Region (Strategic Partner), National Key Clusters (Evoluma Industrial Cluster, formerly Metal Processing Cluster, Polish Construction Cluster, Polish Composite Technology Cluster) with the support of the Bialystok Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Foundation for the Development of the Bialystok University of Technology and in cooperation with the Institute of Light and Polymer Technologies from Dresden University of Technology and the Fraunhofer Institute for Ceramic Technologies and Systems IKTS.

The Raising Funds Panel was an opportunity to delve into the dynamic world of fundraising, exploring possibilities and sharing valuable tips. The panel was designed to cover a spectrum of fundraising possibilities, offering practical tips and addressing key questions that organizations, entrepreneurs, and individuals often encounter in their fundraising journey.
