New PhD graduate at FunGlass

We are pleased to announce that today, July 7^th, 2020 our PhD student Alexandra Ewa Nowicka has successfully passed her doctoral thesis defence on “Corrosion of zirconia-based dental ceramics” under supervision of prof. Dušan Galusek.

 „Ola“ graduated at Department of Ceramics of AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Poland. After she gained Master of Ceramic degree, she took three months internship on „Weathering of historical glass“ at VILA department of TnUAD within Erasmus+ mobility program. Finally, she decided to stay in Slovakia and to take her PhD studies in Chemistry and Technology of Inorganic Materials and Glass at FunGlass Centre.

We congratulate Ola on completing her dissertation and receiving her PhD!
