Haritha Ajitha Haridasan
I completed my Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from Calicut University (2011-2014). I did my Masters in Chemistry at National Institute of Technology-Karnataka (NITK), India. After that worked as a project assistant more than a year in the Material Science division of National Aerospace Laboratories-(Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, CSIR) Bangalore, India.
I have worked on several research projects: My B.Sc. project is titled “Scavenging behaviour of formaldehyde polymerized sawdust in the removal of malachite green from aqueous solution”. My Masters project was on “Graphene cobalt oxide composites for hydrogen evolution reaction” under the guidance of Dr.Denthaje Krishna Bhat at NITK. After that I was involved in the project “Synthesis and application of environmental barrier coating (EBC) (Yttrium disilicate bond coat, mullite intermediate layer, and BSAS top coat) for Silicon Carbide based Ceramic Matrix Composites”. Mainly I used sol-gel and solid state synthesis techniques to generate the ceramic powders and characterize using X-ray diffraction analysis, particle size analysis, SEM microstructure analysis etc.
