Martina Vitázková

In 2018 I graduated from  Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Department of Molecular biology. Topic for my master thesis was: Expression of protein B18R in E.coli, which is needed in reprogramming of pluripotent stem cells, one of the youngest methods used in the study of personalized medicine. My lab skills are linked to my master thesis which covered methods used mainly in biological laboratories. These methods include preparing bacterial cells, eucaryotic cells and working with laboratory devices for study of cells and preparing them for next work. Studying at the Centre for Functional and Surface Functionalized Glass is a big challenge for me and a big chance to improve myself and my understanding of the chemical background of biological processes. I want to work hard and be the best I can possibly be.
