Prof. M. Liška has received an exceptional award for “Longlife support of science” from the SAS
We are pleased to announce that Professor Marek Liška has received an exceptional award for “Lifelong support of science” from the Slovak Academy of Science.
Prof. M. Liška focused his research on the properties of glasses and melts, their dependence on composition and temperature and on the application of mathematical-statistical methods in the study of these dependences, objective evaluation of glass color, optimization of melting units, vacuum development in solar collector tube and optimization of chemical composition of glasses.
He is the co-author of 7 monographs, the author or co-author of 250 publications, of which 171 publications have been published in international professional journals. He is also the author or co-author of 346 papers at professional scientific conferences, of which 201 were lectures and has 534 citations and 147 cited publications. He applies his scientific-research knowledge in pedagogical practice, especially in the education of doctoral students as future researchers.
