Strengthening Partnerships with FAU´s Institute of Biomaterials
On Wednesday, February 19, the team from the Department of Biomaterials met with representatives from the Institute of Biomaterials at FAU Erlangen, including Prof. A. R. Boccaccini and Dr. Zoya Hadzieva.
Throughout the Horizon 2020 FunGlass project, the Institute of Biomaterials has played a key role as an advanced partner, supporting our scientists in the Department of Biomaterials. Although the FunGlass project has officially concluded, both institutions expressed strong interest in continuing their collaboration on:
- Exchange mobilities for students and researchers
- Joint publications and research projects
- Exploring new research topics of mutual interest
During the meeting, concrete steps were discussed to ensure the partnership remains active, with plans for immediate collaborative initiatives already in motion.
The FunGlass Centre looks forward to further strengthening this long-standing partnership and continuing impactful research in the field of biomaterials.
