Mai and Haritha Earn Double PhD Degrees

We are proud to announce the successful completion of PhD defenses by two outstanding researchers, MSc. Haritha Ajitha Haridasan and MSc. Nguyen Mai Phuong Truong.

The oral defenses were held at FunGlass in Trenčín, with the personal participation of supervisors Assoc. Prof. José Velázquez García and Assoc. Prof. Robert Klement, and the online presence of co-supervisors Dr. Yolanda Castro Martin and Dr. Maria Jesus Pascual from CSIC, Spain. Both Haritha and Mai successfully completed their doctoral studies under a co-tutelle agreement, earning doctoral degrees from FunGlass/A. Dubček University as well as from their partner institution, the Autonomous University of Madrid, Spain.

Haritha is currently residing in the United States and exploring career opportunities there. Mai will continue her research journey at FunGlass as a young researcher.
