Virtual FunGlass Symposium

On 18 November, 2020 virtual „FunGlass Symposium 2020“ was held live from FunGlass Centre in Trenčín. The aim of the symposium session was to highlight and share the results of research collaboration with advanced partners of the “FunGlass” project in the field of Biomaterials, Glass Coatings, Glass Processing and Functional Materials, namely with

  • Institute of Biomaterials, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany
  • Institute of Ceramics and Glass, CSIC, Madrid, Spain
  • Dipartmento di Ingegneria Industriale Università degli Studi di Padova, Padova, Italy
  • Otto Schott Institute of Materials Research, Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Germany.

Opening presentation of prof. Galusek acquainted the followers with the current research agenda of the FunGlass Centre. Subsequently, FunGlass researchers and also PhD students presented and discussed their research results achieved in cooperation with their colleagues from partner institutions and showed the ways and open challenges for effective exploitation of these results.

In case of questions related to the individual presentations you can contact presenters (e-mail addresses are written below).
