Workshop with Prof. Himanshu Jain from Lehigh University, USA
It was a pleasure to welcome to FunGlass Centre Prof. Himanshu Jain from Lehigh University in USA. Professor Jain is a member of the International Advisory Board of the FunGlass Center, which met on 17 November 2019 in the premises of our Centre. On the occasion of his visit, an interactive workshop was held on Friday 18 October, at which prof. Jain presented the facilities and the equipment at Lehigh University as well as the activities of his research group in the field of Bio-Glasses, Electric Field Induced Softening of Glass, and Laser-Induced Single Crystal Growth in Glass-Ceramics. On the contrary, in the afternoon our researchers presented and actively discussed with prof. Jain about their research topics.
